Awards & Honors

Kim Kori’s sculptures have received the following Awards & Honors

2024 – “Moonlight” was selected for the Society of Animal Artists A Boundless World Special Show, to be displayed at the Phoenix Zoo from January 30th through May 25th, 2025.

2024 – “Rapid Transit and Soft Spot” were selected for the American Women Artists Master Signature & Heritage Member Exhibition at the Tubac Center of the Arts, Tubac, Arizona, from March 1st through April 14th, 2024.

2024 – “The Kiss” was selected for the American Women Artists 2024 Annual Online Juried Show from April 30th – July 30th, 2024.

2024 – “Rapid Transit Master” was selected for the American Women Artists Expanding Horizons Juried Museum Show from September 14th – November 10th, 2024, at the Loveland Museum in Loveland, Colorado.

2023 – “Peas Prize” was selected for the Society of Animal Artists Exhibition Encounters with the Animal Kingdom at the Janice Mason Art Museum in the spring of 2023.

2023 – “A Moment’s Rest” was selected for the American Women Artists Pushing Forward Reaching Back Brookgreen Gardens Museum Show, Murrells Inlet, South Carolina in the summer of 2023. In addition, Kim was chosen for a DISTINGUISHED ACHIEVEMENT 3D AWARD for her work out of 860 entries with only 28 awards given.

2023 – “On the Rocks” selected for the Society of Animal Artists 63rd Annual Exhibition and Tour at The Stifel Fine Arts Center in Wheeling, West Virginia, in the fall of 2023. The Tour begins at The Hiram Blauvelt Art Museum, continues to The Dane G. Hansen Memorial Museum and The Peggy Notebaert Museum, part of The Chicago Academy of Sciences until September 2024

2022 – “Rapid Transit” has been selected for the Society of Animal Artists 62nd Art & the Animal Exhibition and Tour at Turtle Bay Exploration Park in Redding, California September 24, 2022 – October 30th, 2022; continuing to Hiram Blauvelt Museum in Oradell, NJ until January 15th, 2023; and ending at The Ella Carothers Dunnegan Museum in Bolivar, MO through April 2nd, 2023

2022 – “Double Jeopardy” has been selected for the American Women Artists Breaking Through: The Rise of American Women Artists Museum Exhibition at Customs House Museum & Cultural Center in Clarksville, Tennessee to be on display March 5th through May 29th, 2022

2021 – “Eyes of the Rainforest” has been selected for the Society of Animal Artists Art that Matters to the Planet Exhibition at The Roger Tory Peterson Institute in Jamestown, New York to be on display August 14th through October 25th, 2021

2021 – “Heat of the Moment” has been selected for the Society of Animal Artists Animal Impressions Show at the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum in Tucson, Arizona to be on display August 21st through November 7th, 2021

2021 – “Oblivious” has been selected for American Women Artists National Online Juried Show Lifting the Sky: Elevating the Works of American Women Artists to be displayed online May 20th through August 21st, 2021

2020 – “Rapid Transit” Best in Show Award Sedona Arts Center Magic & Dreams Online Exhibition June 2020

2020 – “Moonlight” has been selected for the American Women Artists Booth Western Art Museum Exhibition in Cartersville, Georgia, to be displayed from May 27th thru August 23rd, 2020

2019 – “Spring” has been selected for the 59th Annual Exhibition of the Society of Animal Artists, to be displayed from September 19th, 2019 thru January 1st, 2020 at The Briscoe Western Art Museum in San Antonio, Texas.

2021 – A project nearly three years in the making finally came to completion in March when two monumental sculptures created by local artists Kim Kori and Ken Rowe were installed at Sedona, Arizona’s two major roundabouts. The bronze sculptures, “Above and Beyond,” are located at the intersection of SR 89A and SR 179 and at SR 89A and Brewer Road.

Kim Kori and fellow sculptor Ken Rowe, working as a team, have been selected to create two monuments for the “Y” and Brewer Road Roundabouts in Sedona.
