A dear friend commissioned me to sculpt a Canyon Wren, his favorite little bird. Canyon Wrens live in steep rocky areas of the west. They differ from other wrens by having long slender beaks and flat heads so they can probe for insects in rock crevices. They sing a beautiful song that echoes off the canyon walls.
